MANDURAH’S GREENEST
Since the early days, Pleasant Grove has been at the forefront in sustainable living.
The developers of Pleasant Grove are a local Mandurah family with a rural heritage. Farming the land, fishing the waters and enjoying a healthy Pleasant Grove lifestyle from childhood. Growing their own healthy fruit and vegetables ensured a love and respect for the soil and land.
Instead of clearing the paddocks for cropping they saved the healthy old growth Jarrah, Marri and Tuart trees, clearing where possible only the weakest or dead trees to create pastures.
In later years, when planning the Pleasant Grove subdivision, this same love of the environment resulted in large parkland cleared homesites with generous areas of public open space, underground power and restrictive covenants to retain an environment of healthy sustainable living into the future.
HEALTHY FUTURE LIFESTYLE
As developers they’ve always been proud of the results of their long term philosophy of larger blocks and a continuing respect for the beautiful old growth trees, the life giving lungs of the earth.
Now 25 years on, they are pleased with the results and continue this suitable philosphy.
Unchanged are:
